Native Seed Library

The Next Step in Restoration

You've done the hard work—the invasive species are gone. But what comes next?

Successful restoration isn't just about removing unwanted plants; it's about helping native species return and rebuilding a healthy, resilient ecosystem. Whether you're restoring a woodland, shoreline, pollinator garden, or former invasive species infestation, establishing native plants can help stabilize soils, suppress future invasions, support pollinators and wildlife, and bring life back to the landscape.

That's where our Native Seed Library comes in.

The Native Seed Library provides free access to locally appropriate native seed mixes, educational resources, and guidance to help landowners take the next step from invasive species management to long-term habitat restoration. Please note - this program is operating as a year one pilot program and is currently only available to Charlevoix & Antrim county residents.
