About Green Elk Rapids:
Green Elk Rapids is a local volunteer organization committed to raising awareness of environmental issues. We pursue our mission through collaboration with local organizations such as schools, village government, businesses, and community organizations. Programs have included films, educational forums, nature hikes, student projects, guest speakers, and special community service activities.
What to expect:
Nature Fest is a celebration of all things environmental in Northern Michigan! Connect with leaders from 50 regional environmental organizations, learn about local environmental initiatives, explore outdoor education & recreation ideas, and enjoy live music, workshops, crafts, food, and storytelling. This family-friendly event has something for everyone. Find us at the CAKE CISMA table where weather permitting, we'll have a fun nature-themed activity.
