About the event

The beaches along the Great Lakes are truly spectacular and part of what makes  Northern Michigan so magical. As a part of our ongoing efforts to protect and promote natural places across Northern Michigan, we're collaborating with Michigan Natural Features Inventory to host a series of educational hikes. These hikes are a part of our coastal & riparian habitat restoration project.

MNFI conservation associate Elizabeth Harber will guide us through Woollam Family Preserve, nestled along the shores of Lake Michigan. Elizabeth will talk about her experience surveying the preserve in 2022 and how CAKE CISMA and our partner organization Little Traverse Conservancy are working together to manage coastal & riparian habitats.
